My Story
I have a bachelor's degree in 2D Studio Art specializing in New Media from Oakland University. My experiences in college ignited my passion for photography and video art. I soon became an art and photography teacher. Teaching photography classes has been an enriching experience, allowing me to share my love for the craft while continually learning myself. I am dedicated to inspiring others through my work and teaching.
What began as experimenting with my camera during my first maternity session evolved into a deep love for editing and sharing peoples' stories. My work has certainly grown with me. My love for learning has helped me evolve as a teacher and photographer, becoming the artist that I am today. I hope to pursue my photography career full-time in 2027 and live my dream as an artist and photographer.

As a full-time art teacher for twelve years and passionate photographer for ten, my love for creativity extends well beyond the classroom. Teaching photography at the high school level sparked my own journey into creating expressive, meaningful imagery.
